Purpose of the business;

To provide employment opportunities in the agriculture sector for youths in rural areas. The agriculture sector accounts for 70% of the employment in Kenya both directly and indirectly. Since the inception of Agrivijana in 2018, We have seen growth in employment and increase of yields by farmers in Nakuru and Nyandarua counties. The business model has been tested and verified, now is ready to be replicated in any county that might want to provide employement opportunities for the youth.

We are looking to expand to 10 counties by 2021.

Soil testing process

Soil testing scanner from our technology partner Agrocares 

The scanner can test soil and give report on the spot. It will also give information on the status of the soil and what type of input the farmers need to put to increase the crop yield.
